This Privacy Policy explains how Travian Command Center and the Travian Command Center Connector browser extension ("the Extension", "we", "us", or "our") handle, store, and protect your information when you access our dashboard or use our companion tools.

1 Single Purpose & Overview

The single purpose of the Travian Command Center Connector is to serve as a passive tactical companion, defense coordinator, and military overview bridge for players of Travian: Legends.

The Extension reads game overviews (coordinates, troop movements, farm lists, reports) passively from the player's active game pages and synchronizes this tactical data with the user's private Command Center dashboard and database.

2 Information We Handle

To provide its core companion services, the application processes the following categories of data:

A. Game State and Tactical Data (Passive DOM Extraction)

B. Account & Authentication Information

C. Extension Preferences and Local State

3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We strictly do NOT collect, read, or process:

4 Browser Permissions & Justifications

To function properly, the Extension requests the minimum necessary permissions in its manifest.json:

Permission Justification / Functional Purpose
storage, unlimitedStorage Stores local user preferences, active authentication tokens, and offline cached game overviews for fast rendering in the companion panel.
sidePanel Provides a side-by-side companion UI directly in the browser while viewing game pages without obstructing gameplay.
tabs Verifies whether an active browser tab is running a supported Travian game world, reads the domain URL, and opens the companion dashboard.
alarms Manages background countdowns and scheduled freshness checks for defense timers.
offscreen Plays sound notifications (such as attack warnings) in compliance with Manifest V3 background service worker standards.
scripting Dynamically executes the passive DOM reader script on authorized game pages you voluntarily visit.
*://*.travian.com/* Passively extracts tactical game data (rally point, village overviews, farm lists) from pages viewed by the player.
https://tbc-travian-command-center.onrender.com/* Securely exchanges tactical updates with your Command Center web app and backend over HTTPS.

5 Third-Party Sharing & Limited Use Policy

Chrome Web Store Limited Use Certification
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or game data to data brokers, advertisers, or any third parties.
  • We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the Extension's core single purpose.
  • We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
  • Data synchronized to your Command Center account is stored securely in encrypted databases (via Supabase / HTTPS) accessible only by you and the alliance members you explicitly authorize.

6 Data Security and Retention

All data transmitted between the Extension and the Command Center backend uses industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption. Local data stored in chrome.storage is sandboxed by your browser.

You can purge all locally stored extension data at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clicking "Clear Cache" in the extension popup settings.

8 Game Rules Compliance & User Disclaimer

Strict Fair Play & Disclaimer of Responsibility

Passive & Rules-Compliant: The Extension is engineered from the ground up to respect Travian game rules (ยง2.1 / botting rules). It does not simulate clicks, inject keystrokes, automate troop dispatches, or issue synthetic requests to game servers.

User Responsibility: Travian Command Center is an independent, third-party tactical tool and is NOT affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by Travian Games GmbH. While designed to adhere strictly to passive data reading principles, the use of this companion extension is entirely at the user's own choice, risk, and responsibility. The developer assumes no liability for game account actions or gameplay consequences.
